Ratchets and straps are also known as tie-down straps, tie-down belts, bale straps, ratchets, straps, cargo lashings to name a few. Ratchet straps are manufactured by stitching a hook onto a length of tie down webbing. Another shorter hook and web is stitched on to a ratchet handle assembly the long strap is passed over the load to be secured and hooked to something solid generally the body of the truck or trailer. The blank end of the strap is fed through the ratchet handle which is then hooked to the other side of the truck or trailer. The excess slack is removed from the strap by hand. The handle on the ratchet piece is then cranked and using the mechanical advantage of the handle the strap tightens in the load securing it to the trailer. Only when the ratchet brake is disengaged will the ratchet and strap loosen allowing the load to move.

Please find our delivery information outlined below. We currently offer delivery options to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only.
We deliver anywhere in Ireland and Northern Ireland for €19.99 up to 30kg.
Free Delivery
Orders over €100 to anywhere in Ireland are delivered FREE of charge.
Orders are dispatched on the next working day after the order has been placed, and you should receive your order within 2-5 working days. In the unlikely event that an item you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you immediately to inform you of any possible delays.
Please check the contents of your package on arrival. Should any items be damaged during shipment, it is important that you notify us upon opening the package. In the event of damage, please keep all packaging materials from the shipment.

CLICK AND COLLECT
You can pay for your purchases online and collect your order at our warehouse. There is no charge for the Click & Collect service.
Step 1. Place your order online
As part of the checkout process you will be offered the choice of deliver my order or I will collect my order. Please select 'I will collect my order'
Step 2. We will then email you once your order is ready for collection.
Please collect your order within 14 days of receiving your “Your Order is ready for collection” email.
Step 3. What to bring when collecting your order
Simply bring a copy of “Your Order is ready for collection” email.

No problem. We are happy to accept returns within 14 days of order for any products (this excludes products such as chains, wire rope, and webbing or any other product that has been made to your specifications and are clearly personalised)
